As the warmer months roll on in, so do the crispy, light and fresh salads, that bring any meal together! But salads are only as good as their dressing. We couldn’t pick just one recipe, so we’re sharing 5 of our favorite salad dressings with you!
1. Apricot Vinaigrette
Blend all the following ingredients and add a sweet and fruity note to your favourite salad!
- 1 shallot
- Sliced sprig fresh thyme leaves
- ½ cup apricot vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 cup blended oil
2. Healthy Vinaigrette
This quick and easy vinaigrette can not only be used for salads, but also be paired with steamed veggies or fish.
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp mustard
- ¼ tsp salt
- A pinch of black pepper
3. Balsamic salad dressing
This balsamic vinaigrette is a timeless classic with the ideal balance of tang and sweetness.
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
- ¼ tsp sea salt
- 1 large minced clove
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
- ¾ cup olive oil
4. Lemon vinaigrette
Citrus fruit lovers, this vinaigrette will become your all-time fave!
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- ¼ tsp of black pepper
- ¼ stp salt
- ¼ cup squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tsp mustard
- ½ cup olive oil
5. Mint dressing
Blend all the ingredients together and enjoy with crunchy fruit and veg like cucumbers, kale, tomatoes and apples.
- 2 squeezed lime juice
- ⅔ cup olive oil
- 1 tsp honey
- ⅓ cup fresh mint, chopped
- Pinch of salt and pepper
